basics

in recent months 4 items became my standard attire.

- my dad's old vintage casio watch
i had the band reduced to a smaller size.. it's still a bit big, but i like it that way

- my frog ring
i bought it for my birthday here in milano at a flea market that takes place every saturday morning at p.ta genova and i managed to loose it when  i went to rome in november. but luckily, when i came back again, they had one more. so this is actually froggy no.2

- my poodle ring
i also bought that one at the same flea market at the froggy one and i was so happy about it, beeecaaause.. one time a facebook quiz told me, if i was a dog, id be a poodle. so you see, it's perfect

- my cruciani bracelet
when i first came to italy, everybody had those bracelets. no, really. everybody. old ladies at the supermarket, hot (HOT) young business guys on the metro, random people on streets. and my first thought was.. well, that's one trend im not giving into. buuuuut, later i found out the story, and i liked it. so i bought this one for me, and another one (the same, except for the blue heart) for my boyfriend (hell yeah, i have one, not sure if i mentioned before.. nevermind, he'll get his own post soon enough). and another one, but the classic version for luck for my sis. and im happy i did. i've grown to really love it

skeleton debut

so few months ago i was writing about wanting this mega super cool bra (link here)

aaaaand, my lovely sister was so brilliant she actually found the girl that's making those and send me her contact (if anybody else is interested).. and i thought that it's not expensive and she makes them in my size, so i decided to give it a go and ordered it.
i got it pretty fast, but didn't quite get the chance to wear it. i mean.. you kinda need an occasion, no? :) im freaky, but not that freaky..

 and then finally came last weekend and a perfect opportunity to debut my creepy skeleton hands. here in milano i reeeeaaally reaaally like 'punks wear prada' parties. what i love about them most (beside awesome people you always get a chance to meet) is that they're theme parties. but last weekend i was at a loss for inspiration and also not completely feeling the theme.. so i said 'hell.. let's go with it'.

the blurry-ness goes perfectly with the slightly inhibriated atmosphere :)

and finally i met this young cutie-pie who had just the most amazing hat, which he generously lent to me for some pics.

hell yeah it say 'swag' on it. i've been making fun for sooo long of all the swaggsters and yolo-ers, that it actually came into my habit to say 'swaaaag' :) of course i can't forget to mention here lady kreayshawn and her the-most-amazing-verse-evah from 'gucci gucci'

backwards

there is a new trend in town all the cool kids are apparently using in music world right now - backwards videos. i must say.. i like them :) maybe because i was so impressed years ago with the Memento movie. it was so different. not the usual movie trick, when they show you a glimpse of the ending and then go to the beginning, but legit backwards story that keeps you in suspense for the whole time.

i haven't heard this one enough to be sure if i really like it or i just like it because im used to liking 'yeah yeah yeahs' and i really do like little miss lily :)

and my new obsession atm. it's a pretty depressing song lyrics-wise, going on about fighting depression or perhaps drug abuse (i think the lyrics are quite open to interpretation in different ways) but i dont know.. it kinda comes together really well. i cant get enough of it.

milano, italy !

so i've been here in milan for quite some time, but i still haven't done the review. so today i set my mind to finally do it. it's a bit shabby, because i don't actually have a lot material and the one i have is not really good, but still. it is what it is. without further ado, my life in past couple of months.

 for those who dont know.. im a slovenian. and 'laško pivo' is probably the most famous slovenian beer. and it was just so heart warming when i saw this little friend across the street of where i live. just like.. you know. a piece of home :)

because i've been here from end of september.. i've celebrated my bday here. and i made cupcakes for everyone :) although here on the photo they are without the frosting. no photos of that. they were just too delicious to wait for that.

i got really home sick in december.. so i made these cookies my mom used to make.
